The Ritz-Carlton Chicago
Connecting Senior-Level Chicago Women

This conference will take an in-depth look at what the corporate sector is doing to focus on the value and strength of women’s leadership. Primary female leaders in Chicago’s corporate community will provide their insights into what companies can and are doing to advance women, enhancing business success. Additionally, internationally recognized speakers in corporate, not-for-profit, academic and public policy arenas will deliver powerful messages addressing the global status of women, including U.S. efforts to impact the well-being of women domestically and internationally, and public and private initiatives underway to help women control their destinies.

Despite recent advancements, much still needs to happen to fully harness the benefits provided by women’s leadership, talents and viewpoints. Womenetics Global Women’s Initiative: The Ripple Effect will connect attendees to key individuals working to advance women and ensure the U.S. stays economically competitive. Global thought leaders will discuss trends, innovation, challenges and promising cross-sector solutions surrounding women’s leadership, corporate social responsibility, and worldwide economic and political empowerment of women. This gathering places a strong emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility with an aim to launch a substantial dialogue around the intersection of market, mission and action to impact business success.

Vital to those public and private initiatives is the role of corporate social responsibility to empower women worldwide. Corporations can be more influential than governments and consumers can exert great pressure for change. The Global Women’s Initiative will explore how companies can advance women in ways that integrate with a company’s mission and increase profitability. More than just “doing good,” corporate social responsibility is evolving. Business initiatives that create shared value between companies and communities have become integral to success in the global marketplace. Women’s participation is central to that shift.

Limited to no more than 250 attendees, this afternoon conference will include significant and relevant relationship building to further the inclusion of women in the global economy. Access to thought leaders and the big ideas in which they are invested will enable cutting edge leaders, companies and executive women to amplify their trusted networks, build influence around issues that matter, and enhance their ability to generate business success in today’s international economy.
