Join Womenetics to meet the 2010 POW! Award Winners and hear national keynote speaker, Anita McBride and renowned Jazz artist, Anna Wilson. Keynote Speaker: Anita McBride Anita McBride served as Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush from January 2005 to January 2009. During her tenure, she was responsible for developing the global platforms for Mrs. Bush including such issues as education & global literacy, human rights, global health, youth development, conservation, and the arts & historic preservation. A White House veteran spanning two decades and three administrations, Ms. McBride responsibilities included travel to 67 countries in 4 years. Anita McBride is an example of one extraordinary woman making a difference, following her purposeful life. Womenetics is also excited to announce that chart-topping Jazz singer/songwriter, Anna Wilson will be performing at the 2010 POW! Awards. A purposeful woman in her own right, Anna Wilson is the official songwriter for Habitat for Humanity, and recently honored at the Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence Awards. She earned an ASCAP Award for co-writing one of the most performed country songs of 2008, “All I Ever Wanted”, #12 on the Billboard country chart.
